Flowers & Sparkle showcased some new designs at the Dorton House Wedding Fair.

We dressed four individual tables to give brides inspiration for their forth coming weddings.

Some designs are of course more popular than others - however there were plenty of ideas for each couple to take away with them and possibly use for their own weddings.

At Cooling Castle Barn they are renowned for ensuring that each and every wedding is special.
With only one function per day, they ensure that the Bride and Groom receive our undivided attention and have a day that they will never forget. They pride ourselves on attention to detail and if unusual requests are made, they rise to the challenge.

There are three barns, The Heritage Barn for the reception of guests, The Fathom Barn for the Marriage Ceremony and The Tithe Barn for the Wedding Breakfast.

The grounds are superbly maintained in order that our guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility of our rural location.

The Barns can be decorated to match different colour schemes/themes and individual budgets.

For this wedding we did a Winter Theme - with white glittered twigs in whites and silvers to acheive the overall look

Dorton House open day

The spectacular Dorton House Hospitality Suite is ideally suited to offer the perfect venue for your wedding.

You can enjoy exclusive use of the Suite which we can arrange in any way you wish, making Dorton House especially yours for the day.

The Wedding Suite comprises 3 main rooms:

The magnificent Library can accommodate 120 guests for dinner. Renowned for its elaborate gilded marble fireplace the room is dominated by a sweeping oak staircase where you can make a dramatic entrance to join your guests. This stunning backdrop promises a truly memorable occasion and enchanting photographs

The tranquil and elegant Thomas Lucas Room lends itself perfectly to the exchange of your vows. Soft pastel colours exquisitely accent the original ornate cornicing and marble fireplace. Seating up to 100 guests, the room also boasts views of the terrace and extensive grounds that are spectacular in any season.

The lavish Wedgwood Room provides a sumptuous setting in which to entertain your guests. The light and airy atmosphere is complemented by French Doors that open onto the terrace. The room links to the Panelled Dining Room and the Thomas Lucas Room.

Holiday Inn Bexley

We were delighted to be a part of the Holiday Inns post Christmas Party.

They had a ice them, so we created beautiful centrepieces in tall fluted vases, glittered white twigs and run white tulips throught the design.

The chairs were dressed with white chair covers, silver bows and the room was complete with our fairytale lightbackdrop.

The room was later finalised when the red and green napkins were removed and replaced with silver ones.

Wedding Fair at Dorton House

Flowers & Sparkle will be exhibiting at the forth coming wedding fair to be held at Dorton House, Seal Sevenoaks. On Sunday 30th Janaury 2011 from 11 - 4.

We will be show casing our new trends and designs for 2011 including the much anticipated lace chair sashes.

Dorton House is without a doubt one of Kent's best kept secrets. If you have not found your perfect wedding venue, then why not come along to the wedding fayre and open day on Sunday 30th January 2011 between the hours of 11am and 4pm. You will be able to view this truly beautiful venue, and you can be shown round personally.

You will also be able to spend quality time talking to many of Kent's leading wedding suppliers, who have all worked at Dorton House over the years.

Pre-register, and you will be greeted upon arrival with a glass of Bucks Fizz and a Bridal Bag.

There is ample parking space within the grounds, and entry to the wedding fayre is free.
